COLLABORATOR — Mila: Great Sorcerer

The contemporary opera project, Mila: Great Sorcerer, was composed by Andrea Clearfield. The show workshop premiered at the Prototype Festival in NYC, Spring 2019. Kontak Creative provided a custom designed drone and several other percussive instruments for the orchestration.

PERFORMER: THING IN THE SPRING

This annual music festival is held in Peterborough, NH. It features a number of regional musicians performing in numerous locations for a weekend of festivities.

PERFORMER: ANDREA CLEARFIELD SALON

The Andrea Clearfield Salon is a monthly gathering in Philadelphia, PA to hear new and emerging works from a diverse group of professional musical performers. I have been participated in the Philly salon for several years, as well as The Salon at Justice Snow’s, an offshoot, in Aspen, Colorado.

Performer: Concord Community Music School

As a guest performer for the Concord Community Music School in Concord, New Hampshire, I was able to perform on a wide variety of instruments. Some, like the Amplified Slinky or the Rods and Washers instruments, are created using common household objects. Others, like The String Thing, use a combination of prepared strings, PVC, and unique striking devices such as motorized fans to create a range of sounds.
